KOCHI: Kochi will soon play host to short film festival where a slew of short films made in Malayalam will be screened. The festival titled’ Kochi Metro Short Film Fest 2014’ will be held at Gold Souk Mall, Vyttila, this December.
The fest, organised by Monsoon Cine Fest, is aimed at providing a common platform to short films made across the world and to recognise and honour the talents behind these works.
According to the organisers, the short film fest also aims at acknowledging the relevance of short films as a creative medium. As part of the five-day fest, there will be sessions involving eminent film personalities and writers. This is also aimed at moulding people those who plan to venture into the film field.
