Hot Jungle, a theme restaurant near Oberon Mall, offers a treat for foodies in the ambience of a jungle

KOCHI: As we move cautiously through the wood-like space, a gentle breeze whizzes past and light creeping through the leaves casts shadows of different sizes and shape. The quiet cool and the earthy texture of the place is relaxing beckoning foodies to take a bite. 

Hot Jungle, a restaurant set up by Sahir from Thalassery and Mehrab from Ernakulam,  allows you to enjoy the richness of nature and taste of its fruits cooked in desi and foreign style.

Situated near the Oberon Mall, Edappally, Hot Jungle is a dream come true of the two good friends who have also launched a theme restaurant in Oman. The joint, which may be the first theme restaurant in the Kerala, takes you through a totally different culinary experience. True to its name, it’s as if you are walking through a jungle as the decor and design create such an ambiance. The sight and sound of the tropical forest with the help of stunning special effects and cascading waterfalls are nothing but enchanting.

The restaurant offers a unique opportunity to experience the mysterious air of a typical jungle, especially for children. ”We have opted for this theme keeping children in mind. For, without entertainment, children get easily bored with the same king of restaurants,” says Mahin V Ali, corporate chef and director of the Hot Jungle.

A small play area at the back of the restaurant offers loads of fun for kids. The Hot Jungle boasts more than 100 seats with an amazing and distinctive decor that matches perfectly with the ambiance and theme of the restaurant.

 Beautiful paintings, drawings, indigenous lighting and unrestricted views of tropical forest make Hot Jungle an intriguing dining venue. It also provides a very special dining experience in hut-like structures.

The food provided is as vibrant as its theme. “We provide the finest delicacies of north and south India, Chinese, Turkish,Italian, Continental,very special Malabar food, authentic Kerala food, a variety of juices, fruit mocktails, sandwiches and Hyderbadi prepared by expert chefs using quality ingredients,” said the duo.

Hot Jungle features a live kitchen, Fatayer Oven, Horizontal Doner Machine - all well placed for a enriching experience. Their menu card lists out 219 dishes, including desserts and their ‘Hot Jungle Special’ .

The restaurant is ready to cater to the customer’s taste at their live kitchen. Foodies can relish taking a dining safari through the Hot Jungle.
