KOCHI: The Kochi City Police on Sunday arrested a 52-year-old man on charges of stealing cash and valuables from various churches in the district.
The arrested, Biju George of Cheranallur, is accused of conducting burglary at Holy Family Church at Semetherimukku, Ernakulam North. He was picked up by a team led by Ernakulam North CI Y Nizamudeen at the North Railway Station on Saturday. Biju will be produced before the Additional Chief Magistrate Court later.
