KOCHI: We all have this one moment where our basic ‘right to live’ is questioned. This moment is life-changing. The moment could be born out of happiness, wonder, ecstasy, or from sorrow, anxiety, or pain. Although your mind wanders into the past and future, you choose to be in the present. You compel your mind to fixate on the moment, so you could work hard towards a fruitful future for yourself.
Benny George, the Founder and CEO of Success Unlimited, a training and development company, has decided to take his life journey to the next level. His recently published book, ‘Get To Level Next’, is an incentive read for a wide range of people, from young adults to elders.
“Interacting with various types of people, a lot of things influenced me,” says Benny. “So I thought I would pen them down. After a while, the idea for this book came to me,” says Benny. He comes from a background in sales but later started focusing on corporate training as he enjoyed associating with entrepreneurs and businesses all over India.
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the strong and weak. Because, during a period in your life you will have been all of these. So, you should meet anger with sympathy, contempt with passion, cruelty with kindness, and grimaces with smiles. Forgive and forget instead of finding fault. Love, hope and faith are the weapons of the future.
“We all have to be daring, enthusiastic and be ready for change,” he says. “Because change is constant and inevitable. Our lives deserve to be celebrated. We need to believe in ourselves and stay positive and open. Negative thoughts can become a vice and affect the way in which we experience life’s events. Learning how to think positively can be hard, especially if one has never been taught to do so. However, becoming someone who sees the best in everything can lead to new experiences and a healthier existence.”
