KOCHI: Unwinding is routine in picturesque Wayanad. And giving their busy jobs and Blackberrys a break and chilling with nature are 20 entrepreneurs, thanks to the unique plan by Entripreneur, a start-up networking initiative.
Entripreneur, started by Anuj Agarwal, Jahnvi Sharma, Swapnil Soni and Rachna Ghiya, had just one focal point when they launched the idea. They wanted to go beyond “visiting card connections”.
The first destination was a remote village called Viraatkhai in Uttarakhand. That proved to be a huge success. “It was an eye opener. The entrepreneurs met at a secluded place, where they got to know each other and understand the challenges of being an entrepreneur. The no-pressure get-together turned really fruitful. Most of them are friends, business partners, associates and collaborators,” says Jahnvi.
This time, Wayanad was chosen as the destination. “Wayanad offers such an exotic experience. Getting to know Nature, and feel the fresh air and connecting with each other are important. For our Wayanad trip, Entripreneur has planned something different this time,” says Jahnvi.
Supporting them on this trip is the Wayanad Tourism Organisation, an initiative of the District Tourism Promotion Council, among other organisations. The entrepreneurs had a session with the Wayanad Tourism Community wherein they were told about about how the tourism industry is flourishing in the area.
“The best thing of the trip is that the entrepreneurs will keep networking amongst each other, even as they enjoyed themselves doing rafting, trekking and boat rides,” says Jahnvi.
