KOCHI: The Kudumbashree Mission, implementing agency for the e-Seva Kendra project launched by the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) at the Collectorate here the other day, is planning to expand e-Sevea services to the other parts of the district on a war-footing. According to Kudumbashree officials, e-Seva Kendras will be set up at the Angamaly, Perumbavoor, Mattancherry and Tripunithura Sub RTOs in February. "As part of the expansion initiative, we are planning to set up a centre at Kothamangalam also in future," said Kudumbashree-Ernakulam coordinator Tanny Thomas. It has been decided to make available the service of three Kudumbashree workers each at every RTO and that of two workers at each Sub RTO. "The Department has imparted training to around ten Kudumbashree workers as part of the initiative," added Tanny.
Services Offered
The services offered at the e-Seva Kendras are renewal of registration certificate (RC); change of address in RC; inclusion and termination of vehicle loan in RC; transfer of RC; fitness certificate for vehicles; international driving permit and duplicate driving licence. A service charge of Rs 20 will be levied for each service.
