KOCHI: The Kerala Students Union (KSU) march to the City Police Commissioner’s office on Saturday in protest against the fee hike for self-financing courses turned violent. Several KSU and Youth Congress activists were arrested and removed from the spot after they tried to force their way inside the office. The police used water cannon to disperse the irate activists. The KSU district committee took out the march by noon in protest against the alleged police violence on its activists during the strikes across the state against the fee hike.
