PATHANAMTHITTA: Playback singer K J Yesudas offered vallasadya to palliyodams at Aranamula Sree Parthasarathi temple on Monday.
Yesudas, along with wife Prabha, son Vijay Yesudas and grandson participated in the vallasadya offerings to six palliyodams.
Yesudas, along with his family members, was received by the members of palliyodams when they reached the temple kadavu at 11.30 am and was given a traditional reception at the northern gate of the temple on the bank of the Pampa river.
Before the vallasadya offering, Yesudas sung a few “vanchipattu” along with the members of the palliyodams.
“Choroonu” ceremony was also conducted for the grandson of the playback singer.
Thousands of devotees gathered on the temple premises to have a glance of the noted singer. Yesudas was received at the temple by Palliyoda Seva Sangham president K V Sambadevan and other office-bearers.
