THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala University has invited applications for the three year full-time BBA, B Com (Computer Applications), BSc Computer Science, BCA and BSc Electronics courses to be held at the University Institute of Technology centres at Adoor, Alappuzha, Neyyattinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanapuram, Pirappancode, Kottarakara and Eroor. The duly filled application forms along with receipt of the fee of Rs 200 remitted at university cash counter or a demand draft from SBT, SBI, DCB of Rs 210 in favour of the Finance officer of the Kerala University payable at Thiruvananthapuram should reach the principals of the centres concerned before June 15. Separate application forms should be submitted for each course.
WALK-IN INTERVIEW: Applications are invited for the walk in interview for the posts of principals at UIT centres at Adoor and Alappuzha on contract basis.
The qualification for applying for the post is not less than a second class in MA English/M Com/MBA/MSc Mathematics /MSc Computer Science/MSc Physics with specialisation in Electronics or PG in any subject under humanities, at least 20 years teaching experience in the university or an affiliated college.
Those with research experience and NET will be given preference. The applicants should also be able to handle classes in any of the above subjects. The applicant should not exceed 45 years of age. Those who have retired can also apply.
The monthly remuneration for the selected candidate will be Rs 10,000. The applicants should bring in the original of the certificates to attend the interview to be held at PVC’s office at 9.30 a.m. on June 19.
MA ENGLISH SPECIAL CLASS: Special classes for first year MA English (distance education mode-2008-10-Kariavattom centre) will be held at the IDE on June 10 and 11.
MCA PRACTICAL: The fifth semester MCA computer network lab practical examinations will be held on June 11,12 and 15 and web application lab practical examinations on June 17 at the centres concerned. The detailed timetable can be had from the examination centre.
BPT: The results of the first semester Bachelor of Physiotherapy examinations held in April 2009 has been published. The applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till June 25.
MTech: Applications can be submitted for the final semester M Tech (part-time 2003 scheme) examinations without fine till June 10. Applications can also be submitted with a fine of Rs 50 till 12. Thesis can be submitted till June 15.
MA SOCIOLOGY: The results of the distance education MA (previous and final year) exams have been published. J.Sonia won the first rank. Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted within 2 weeks of receiving the mark-list.
NEW EXAM DATES: The new dates of some examinations postponed from June 9 have been announced.
Second semester BBA to be held on June 9 will be held on June 24.
Second year BSc Computer Science and second semester BCA examinations to be held on June 9 will be held on June 22.
Sixth semester three year LLB, tenth semester five year LLB to be held on June 9 will be held on June 15.
Second semester BA,BSc, B Com (restructured and vocational) examinations to be held on June 9 will be held on June 29. There is no change in other examinations and examination centres.
