THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Cooperative Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) has announced registration for the MBA Foundation Course. The course will commence on June 1. Students seeking admission for MBA can register for the course.

 The Foundation Course is conducted with the purpose of bringing all students who are applying for MBA programmes on par in terms of knowledge in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting and operational understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, said a press release.

 The Foundation Course is compulsory for all students who are offered admission for the MBA programme in CIMAT, but the course is open to all students who want to join the MBA programme in University of Kerala. The fee for the Foundation Course is ` 5,000, which is refundable to students who join the MBA programme at the Institute.

 CIMAT is an initiative of the Kerala State Cooperative Bank to nurture and develop managerial talents in the country. Apart from the regular MBA programme of the University of Kerala, the Institute is organising various training programmes for the benefit of researchers, consultants and other academia in management studies.
