Mobile application 'M-Governance Kerala' launched by city firm

Thiruvananthapuram-based startup company Livares Technologies Pvt Ltd has launched ‘M-Governance Kerala’, an android mobile application that covers information on Kerala Government’s various departments.

The objective of the project is to integrate the advancements in mobile technology with various departments to create cost-effective, efficient and round-the-clock government information systems. The Kerala M-Governance system is integrated to a mobile application which is so designed to include all the services and departments under Government of Kerala. Users can download the application for free from http://goo.gl/Jv7f8.

M-Governance Kerala has a user-friendly layout which helps the users to easily access the information quickly. The application will hold all the services and departments provided under the Kerala M-Governance System, which helps the user to get knowledge about all available services without any effort.

Users can easily select the required service under a specific department and they can also initiate a query regarding the specific service under the specific department by simply giving the required details and click the submit button. The system initiates an SMS which is sent to ‘537252’ in predefined format.

The system is very much user-friendly and the user doesn’t have to worry about SMS formats and numbers. Aneesh Chandran, chief operating officer, Livares Technologies (P) Ltd said that the application is designed in a way to provide public a user-friendly user interface (UI) which eases the process and helps the public to enjoy the facilities provided by the Kerala Government.

This move can revolutionise M-Governance in Kerala.

Livares Technologies is a startup company incubated at Technopark (TBI) and Startup Village, set up by seven youngsters. The directors of Livares are, Aneesh, Aneez Ahmed N, Jaseel A R, Mahesh K M, Rineez Ahmed N, Sumesh R Nair and Shihas A S.

Kerala State Information Technology Mission (KSITM) is in the process of creating an apps store to make available applications which support various e-governance initiatives in the state. The first application in this regard developed by Livares Technologies Pvt Limited can be downloaded freely from KSITM’s Google play store account.

‘’This initiative supports the upcoming companies in Technopark as well as the citizens alike. I am sure that this mobile application will serve its purpose righteously,’’ said Jayasankar Prasad, director, KSITM.
