Governor calls for 'smart security'

In view of this, Technopark is considering bringing in CISF for tackling the security situation on the campus

Governor Nikhil Kumar, who visited the Technopark the other day, stressed on deploying Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the park for strengthening the security. During his meeting with IT Principal Secretary P H Kurian and Technopark officials, he said that it should go in for a ‘Smart Security’, which is the need of the hour.

 In view of this, Technopark is considering bringing in CISF for tackling the security situation on the campus.  A long-term strategy for tightening the security system inside the campus is also under consideration, confirmed Technopark CEO K G Girish Babu.

 Nikhil Kumar also mentioned about bringing in more business to Kerala and offered to speak to industry leaders and top central government officials about Technopark. ‘’Technopark deserves acknowledgement and laurels at the national level and I will do my bit in initiating that. I urge Technopark to look at various options to provide social infrastructure for the employees and their families and alternate transport system into the campus,” he said.

 During his visit to Technopark, Kumar was taken through a presentation on Technopark, its development and facilities. He was also taken for a campus tour.

 The Governor also commented on how Technopark has developed an IT Park blended with nature which must be inspiring the professionals working here amidst the natural beauty.
