THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The employees of the Transport Commissionerate celebrated Onam in a unique manner by staging an ottamthullal on the need to follow traffic rules.
M V Ajith Kumar, an employee, performed the ottamthullal, which was written by Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector B Suresh.
The performance, which briefed on the safety measures to avoid road accidents, lasted 20 minutes.
Transport Commissioner R Sreelekha congratulated Ajith Kumar and presented him a memento.
Various cultural programmes were also held as part of the celebrations.
