Vespa Elegante - the stylish and elegant variant of the gear-less scooter - Vespa- has become one of the favourites of the city folks, who are keen on having a smooth drive through the roads choked by traffic jam. The latest variant of the Vespa model from the Italian brand of scooter is manufactured by Piaggio.
According to the Signature Rides, the Vespa dealers in Kozhikode, the scooter is getting good response from the two wheeler lovers. “The stylish shape of the body and its unique structure are the main factors which makes this model more attractive to the customers, when compared to other gear-less scooters in the market,” according to dealers.
Uniquely crafted front body is the main attraction of this scooter. The body perfectly complements its round headlamps and the chrome mirrors. The seats, which are specially designed individuals seats, are being used in this model and they are have distinct colours.
Vespa Elegante is available in two colours - Metallic Brown and Pearl White. The two stunning models have been designed with full body paint, and has an attractive three coat high definition paint finish. Another attractive factor included in the vehicle, is the classy chrome guard for the pillion rider. The chrome plated guards have been placed in the front and rear side with the footstep.
The latest variant of the scooter has 125 cc engine with three valve aluminium cylinder head. The body is of monoque full steel one and its overall dimension (L X B X H) is 1,770 X 690 X 1,140. Aircraft derived single side arm with anti-drive characteristics has been designed as the front suspension, while the rear side has dual effect hydraulic shock absorber. The 200 mm ventilated disc brake is in the front side, and the 140 mm drum brake is in the rear side. When it comes to the case of the wheel, three spoke - sporty black alloy combination wheels are in this model.According to the automakers, the fuel efficiency of the Vespa Elegante is 55 kpml. The ex-showroom price of the vehicle is Rs 83,518.
