THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Village field assistants under Kerala Revenue Village Staff Organisation (KRVSO) has criticised the State Government for not implementing the Special Rule quoted in the 8th and 9th pay commissions.
Village office employees under the Revenue Department demanded steps to upgrade their posts. ‘’Our job is to do any job assigned to us by the village officer or assistant village officer. But we are not permitted to do any authorised work like issuing tax receipts to the people who approach village office,’’ said KRVSO secretary G V Prince at a press conference held here on Saturday.
