THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Traffic regulations will be put in place in the city on Monday in view of the Raj Bhavan march to be taken out by Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha (KPMS). The curbs will be enforced in the city from 9 am on Monday. Buses and other vehicles proceeding to Thampanoor from National Highway and MC Road should take the route via Pattom- Kowdiar- Ambalamukku- Oolanpara- Pippinmoodu- Sasthamangalam- Kochar Road- Edapazhinji- SMC- Vazhuthacaud- Xanadu- Panavila and Model School Junction or Pattom- Kowdiar- TTC- Golf links road- Pippinmoodu-Sasthamangalam- Kochar road- Edapazhinji- SMC- Vazhuthacaud- Xanadu- Panavila- Model School Junction or Ulloor- Medical College- Kumarapuram- Kannammoola- Pettah- Naalumukku- Pattoor- General Hospital Junction- Asan Square- Underpassage- Bakery flyover and Panavaila.
Vehicles moving to East Fort area from Nedumangad should take diversion via Peroorkada-Oolanpara- Pippinmoodu- Sasthamanglam- Kochar road- Edapazhinji- SMC- Vazhuthacaud- Xanadu- Thycaud- Mettukada- Thampanoor flyover- Killippalam and Attakulangara.
The vehicles coming from Attingal to Thampanoor and East Fort through Kovalam bypass road should proceed via Chakkai- Inchakkal- Vazhappally- Mithranandapuram and Attakulangara or Chakkai- Pettah- Pattoor- General Hospital Junction- Asan Square- Under passage- Bakery flyover and Panavila. The vehciles going to Neyyattinkara and Parassala should take the route via Chakkai-Inchakkal- West Fort- SP Fort hospital- Sreekanteshwaram- Thakaraparambu flyover and Killippalam.
The vehicles from Neyyattinkara to Thampanoor side should take the Killippalam- Thampanoor flyover route. Vehicles moving from Thampanoor to Attingal and Kollam side should proceed through Aristo Junction- Model School Junction-Bakery flyover- Under passage- Asan square- PMG and Plamoodu.
Buses and other vehicles proceeding to Thiruvallam side from Thampanoor should take the route via Thampanoor flyover- Killippalam- Attakulnagra- Mancaud and Ambalathara. The vehicles moving towards Pappanamcode side should go through Thampanoor flyover- Killippalam and Karamana.
Those vehicles coming from East Fort to Peroorkada side should proceed via Attakulangara-Killippalam- Thampanoor flyover- Mettukada- Vazhuthacaud- SMC-Edapazhinji- Kochar Road- Sasthamangalam- Pippinmoodu and Oolanpara. Those coming from East Fort side to Pettah should take a diversion through Vettimurichakotta- Vazhappally Junction- Mithranandapuram- SP Fort- Kaithamukku- Uppidamoodu and Vanchiyoor.
Meanwhile, the vehicles carrying the rally participants from NH, MC Road, Nedumangad, Kattakada and Neyyattinkara should park beside the Kovalam NH bypass stretch after dropping them in the city near Thiruvallam Junction. The vehicles will not be allowed to park inside the city. The contact numbers of the drivers and cleaners should also be displayed on the parked vehicles.
