THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Schools in the capital put up a good show in the CBSE Class X and XII exams, the results of which were announced on Friday. Most of the institutions recorded a 100% success rate in both the board examinations.
St Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal: Class XII: The school recorded 100% pass. Of the 334 students who appeared for the exam, 259 secured distinction, 74 First class, and one Second Class. A total of 52 students secured A1 in all the subjects. The school toppers were: Science - Rahul Vinod (98.8%); Commerce - Hridya JU (98%) and Arjun Krishna J M and Rachel Anna Kurian (98,.4%).
In the Class X exam, The school recorded 100% success. Of the 220 students who appeared for the exam, 166 secured distinction, 47 secured First class and seven Second class. The school toppers were: Gouri Dileep (98.33%); Krishna J & Abhimanyu Ananad (97.67%) and Emil Iype Sacharia & Sumedha N (97.33%).
Christ Nagar Central School, Kowdiar: Class XII: The school registered 100% pass. Of the 137 students who appeared, 131 secured distinction while six got first class. A total of 43 students got A1 in all subjects. The school toppers were: Shreya V Pillai (98.4%) and Anandu A (98.2%).
Class X: The school recorded 100% success. Of the 144 students who appeared, 128 secured distinction while 16 got first class. Six students scored A1 in all subjects. The school toppers were Thejus Kiran (98%) and Farhan (97.8%).
Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School, Thiruvallam: Class XII: The school registered 100% pass. Of the 170 students who appeared, 131 secured distinction while 39 got first class. The toppers were: Commerce - Reenu Arupurakkal Thomas (97.8%), Biology - Asna S Firoz (96.4%), Computer - Philip Bobby Panachikkal (96.2%).
Class X: The school recorded 100% success. Of the 296 students who appeared, 201 secured distinction while 95 got first class. The school toppers were: Anjali AR (98.8%), Gracelin Jessica (98.6%) and Kesia Mariam & Divith Nair (98%).
Jyothis Central School, Kazhakkoottam: The school recored 100% success in Class XII exam. Of the 187 students who appeared, 168 secured distinction while 19 bagged first class. The toppers were: Commerce - Saida Hadi (99%), Science - Hiba Parveen A (98.2%) and Humanities - Avani (97.8%). Commerce - Nidhi Treesa Manoj (96.8%).
Class X: Of the 156 students who appeared, 131 secured distinction and 25 students bagged first class.
he toppers were: Meenakshi RS (98,8%), Ziya Shamnad and Ananya JP (98.4%) and KM Devananda (98%).
The School of the Good Shepherd: The school presented 200 students for the Class X exam of which 68 secured above 90 per cent marks, while 89 students secured distinction, the remaining students were placed in first class. Gouri Jayakrishnan was the school topper with 98%.
Sivagiri Sree Narayana Senior Secondary School, Varkala. The school recorded 100% success rate in Class XII and Class X exams. Of the 70 students who appeared for the Class XII exam, 49 secured distinction. 19 students have been placed in first class an two in second class. The toppers were: Commerce - Nouma S (96%) and Science - Gourinandana J (95.8%). In the Class X exam, 45 students passed with distinction and 27 students secured first class. The toppers were: Aarsha R S (98%), Maithri Krishna Binu (96%) and S. Abhinav (95.2%).
Bluemount Public School, Thonnakkal: The school recorded 100% success in the Class XII exam. While 25 students secured distinction. nine bagged first class. The school toppers were: Commerce - Shahana (98.4%) and Science - Saira Fathima (96.6%). In the Class X exam, 76 students earned distinction and 16 secured first class.
Cordova Public School, Ambalathara. The school secured a 100% pass in Class XII exam with 47% students achieving distinction and 53% students securing first class. Raif Iza Muhammed was the school topper with 94.4% and full A1. In the Class X exam, 63% students achieved distinction and 37% students secured first class. Abhishek S was the school topper with 97.2% marks.
Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential Central School: The school secured 100% pass in Class XII and Class X exam. A total of 41 students secured distinction in the Class XII exam. The toppers were: Science - Abhiram (96%), Commerce - Ashwathy Krishna (95%). In the Class X exam, 45 of the 64 students who appeared secured distinction. Devakrishna with 95% marks was the school topper.
