Tenali railway station has become a Digi-Pay enabled station. Rail commuters can now transact any need on the digital payment gateway using debit/credit cards, mobile paperless tickets and digital wallets. It is the third Digi-Pay enabled station in Vijayawada division.
According to the South Central Railway (SCR) officials, PoS machines have been arranged at booking/reservation counters and parcel offices, 16 catering units, parking stands, water vending machines, milk stall and pay and use toilets.
Paytm facility has been provided at parking stands, catering stalls, water vending machines and pay and use toilets. Digitalisation of the Indian Railways has been taken up with an objective to make it a most convenient, compatible, transparent and affordable mode of transport for every Indian.
