VIJAYAWADA: In what is to be touted as first-of-its-kind in the State, Pavithra sangamam ghat and Bhavani island in Vijayawada are soon going to host an open water park, set up by Watersports Simple group on Krishna river. The trial run for the open water park took place at Bhavani island on Friday.
The newly installed aqua flash zone at Bhavani island received rave reviews from visitors.
The zone will be open to the public by the end of this week, where the organisers are expecting that it would turn out to be major crowd puller.
Speaking to Express, B Subramanyam, Director of Simple group said, “This is a unique water park and the first in the State. Not only kids, even elders and families can come here and enjoy the riverside activities. We have also added kids slide bouncer and trampolines at Sangamam along with ATP vehicles. We are pretty sure that this stands out to be one of the interesting water activities in the city.”
The inflatable water park consists of jumping water trampoline, water sliders, high rise icebergs to climb and slide on water, etc. The package starts at `299, where any individual or family can have fun along with children. People from all age groups are allowed in this water park.
