Krishna University launches NTR PG Centre in Vijayawada

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna University has established the Dr NTR PG Centre for Higher Education in Vijayawada to serve students from NTR district and Amaravati.

The centre aims to reduce the need for students to move to other cities by offering job‑oriented postgraduate, diploma and certificate courses aligned with demand.

Vice‑Chancellor Prof. Kuna Ramjee said the curriculum integrates fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, cyber security, logistics and hospital management alongside traditional degrees.

For 2026–27, programmes include M.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry and MA Humanities. Diplomas cover agribusiness, emerging technologies, languages, yoga and arts. A hospital management diploma begins August 24.
