He owes his triumphs to parents

Koyan Althani, a third-year mechanical student of Calicut AWH Engineering College is a professional biker who leaves no stone unturned in his path of success. This youngster and his team, ‘The Bandit Bikers’, have made it to the elite crowd favourite bracket, struggling to establish their firm hold in the jittery show biz. Besides stunts, Koyan owns a motor customisation outlet called ‘Renegade Custamods’, where spare parts from as far as Bangkok are imported.

The avid biker owns a Pulsar 220 and an MM 540. About the risk encountered while performing stunts, he says, “All’s well as long as you are professionally trained. The chances of injuries are miniscule when you know what you are doing.” He says that the support of his parents are essential in this field. “My dad is a bike freak. So, he knows the implications when something goes wrong, but at the same time he is ready to understand that if properly done, this can be a risk-free game”, he adds.
