Freelancing was the beginning and now he is slowly creating a niche for himself in the advertising industry here. Dayanidhi Dahima, a BCA student of Sambalpur University (distance mode) is also pursuing a diploma in film and animation (specialising in VFX) from Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics. Not only this, he is on his way to achieve his dreams of working with Shah Rukh Khan.
Dahima now boasts a reputed clientele from Odisha. Being a part of a team of seven, Dahima started working during his second year of graduation. “I am now in a comfortable position to understand failure and not be affected by it,” he says.
A major part of his work is designing brochures and creating video profile of companies, photo shoots, 3D design for architecture and a lot more in the field of graphic designing. One of the advertisements created by his team for a travel company has been broadcast on national television. He is also into celebrity management and arranges celebrities from Mumbai for any function throughout the state.
The fluctuating pay does not deter him from keeping at it. “The pay depends on the size of the project. I take up all kinds of projects to gain experience,” he explains.
For him, managing work and study comes easy as his classes are held in the afternoon and he devotes the remaining time to work.
