Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the institute is also the lead centre under the network of aquaculture centres in Asia Pacific operating under the FAO of UN. It is well-equipped with labs for breeding, fish genetics, culture, nutrition, physiology and pathology and aquaculture engineering. The institute undertakes research, training and consultancy.
