RAIPUR: BJP president Amit Shah and the Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday unveiled the party's 'please all manifesto' - Sankalp Patra 2018, two days before the first phase of polling, with a special focus on farmers, youth and women.
Eulogising the Raman government's 15 years performance, Shah said under BJP the Chhattisgarh state has turned into a power hub, cement hub, iron and steel hub and the state is on its way to becoming a digital hub.
"The state government with resolute determination almost eliminated Maoist and Chhattisgarh will be free from Naxalism. Various welfare schemes implemented have been made corruption free", Shah said and further added that a Chhattisgarh earlier known as BIMARU (economically weak and backward) state is now among the progressive state.
CM Raman Singh on the occasion called the manifesto of Congress as nothing more than a bundle of fiction which was released with the only objective to win the elections. "We are again moving ahead with a pledge. BJP is going to the masses taking the Atal's vision for Chhattisgarh to create a Nava (New) Chhattisgarh through sabka saath, sabka vikas".
Some commitments declared by the party apparently seems to be the continuation of the ongoing welfare programmes of the state government.
