HYDERABAD: Taking a swipe at his political opponents, saying that they lack the maturity and relevance in knowing Musheerabad constituency, the State BJP president K Laxman said, “The boy (Congress candidate Anil Kumar Yadav) is new to politics and the constituency.” In a quick chat with Express on Wednesday, Laxman said, “Anil has no moral rights to seek votes considering that during his father’s term 14 people died in Bholakpur after consuming contaminated water.”
He says that even TRS is not a competition to him, as the majority with which he won is huge. “Despite being a state president I ensure that I spare 4-5 hours per day for constituency needs. This is beside a structured camp office working for the constituency needs,” he responded on allegations that he has turned his back on Musheerabad after assuming the role of BJP State president.
“People feel I am more accessible than the other candidates. There are no charges of corruption on me unlike the Congress which has a baggage to keep,” Laxman added. The BJP front-runner said that he was instrumental in getting RO plants fixed in several weaker section societies besides building community halls and drawing funds through CSR in improving facilities in government schools.
