LOS ANGELES: A man by the name of Franklin Mayer has revealed that Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie was high on cocaine back in the year 2000 when she was giving an interview with Charlie Rose. The man has also claimed that it was he who sold the drugs to Angelina Jolie.
In fact the interview that Franklin Mayer referred to was the one in which the actress talks about her role in ‘Gia’, a film in which Angelina Jolie plays the role of Gia Carangi, a model suffering from drug addiction. But little did anyone realize that the actress herself was on a drug dosage while speaking about Gia to Charlie Rose, says Franklin Mayer.
It is not the first time that the media has speculated about Angelina Jolie’s drug addiction. The actress herself has admitted to the fact that she was once addicted to cocaine, but claimed that it was a thing of the past, a thing she indulged in at the beginning of her career. She says that all she is concerned about now is her family and films.
Franklin Mayer claims to have met Angelina Jolie in the year 1997 when she was living in Chelsea Hotel prior to her work in ‘Gia’. He says that she used to spend almost $100 on each occasion to purchase cocaine and heroin among other drugs.
