George Michael ruled every teenager's playlist

From boyish charm to a pop icon, George Michael has probably been on almost every teenager’s playlist. The 53-year-old British singer-songwriter, who breathed his last on December 25, 2016, rose to fame with the album Wham! in the early eighties. 

In the years to follow, he went on to collaborate with artistes like Elton John and Aretha Franklin to belt out some of the most famous hits. “I knew you were waiting (for me)” with Aretha Franklin won Michael his first Grammy.
