BET Awards: Beyonce, Bruno Mars lead the nominations

The star-studded award ceremony will air live on June 25 from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES: Beyonce Knowles is the leading nominee for the 2017 BET Awards with total of seven nominations.

Close behind is Bruno Mars with five nominations, followed by Chance the Rapper, Solange and Migos tied at four a piece.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pop star is nominated for seven awards at the awards, including Album of the Year for ‘Lemonade,’ where she will battle it out with Bruno Mars for ‘24K Magic,’ J. Cole for ‘4 Your Eyez Only,’ Solange for ‘A Seat at the Table’ and Chance the Rapper for ‘Coloring Book’. 
 
The Knowles sister, Beyonce and Solange, will also compete in the category of best female R&B/pop artist and video of the year.
