Fans lose calm as Insomniac reveal 'Spider-Man's release date

NEW DELHI: Twitter has gone wild as  Insomniac has released the launch date for its new game, based on Spider-Man.

The eager American actor and voice-over artist, Yuri Lowenthal, posted a picture donned in Spider-Man getup and wrote, "At long last, the secret’s out. For the last several years I’ve had the best job in the world, and couldn’t say a thing about it. Thanks, @insomniacgames for making my inner child’s dream come true. ?????? #spiderman #spidermanps4".

A fan wrote, "I’m so glad we are getting a more expressive Spider-Man in the games and films these days, the eyes are so cool".

Another fan tweeted, "Insomniac Spider-Man looks amazing, part of me feels bad for Beenox though, I thought they're writing for spidey[particularly in Shattered Dimensions] was solid and given more time, they could've put out a great spidey-game."

"I’m so excited for the Spider-Man game! *reveal of a crafting system* When’s the Flash getting a game", wrote another excited fan.

One tweet read, "i'm more excited for that new Spider-Man game on the ps4 than I am about that Spider-Man Homecoming sequel."

One fan wrote, "I’m honestly considering getting a PS4 just to get the new Spider-Man game".

Another post read, "Spider-Man PS4 is gonna be a legendary release. Game has me so hyped and I don’t even know much about it. Can’t wait to experience this game for myself".

The news was broken by the official Twitter handle of GameSpot. The tweet read, "#SpiderMan releases for PS4 on September 7! His new suits and Collector's Edition have been revealed".

The game is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 on September 7.
