Director Nagashekar and producer Vajreshwari Kumar are on cloud nine as their film Mynaa is not only a massive hit but will also complete 100 days on June 31. To celebrate the success, Nagashekar and Kumar are coming together for another film titled Om Ome.
Confirming the news, Kumar said, “I got a good name in the industry with Mynaa. I am happy to be working with the same team again.”
More people have been roped in this time and the film will be made in all South Indian languages. “Apart from Kannada, the film will also be made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. We will be roping in Nithya Menon as she is popular in South. We plan to pick up different heroes from each region. So Chetan will not be part of this film,” he said.
Director Nagashekar, who is all excited about this project said, “All the hard work has paid off and producers are coming forward to work with me. In fact, I have also got an offer from producer K Manju. But right now I am concentrating on my next movie. We are in talks with Nithya Menon and hopefully we will confirm the dates soon. We will be shooting in Karnataka and the US. The rest of the starcast will be finalised soon,” he said.
Also, Mynaa's remake rights have been sold. “The remake rights have been bought by Ramdass Naidu for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam at a good price,” Kumar revealed.
Interestingly, Nagashekar next will not be a love story. “As a director I need to experiment with different genres. So my next film will be action packed,” he said.
