While the media is rife with rumours of Ranbir and Katrina sharing the same room space of an apartment, what comes is a much sought after revelation by the ‘daddy cool’ Rishi Kapoor who openly admitted to his son’s live-in relationship with the leggy lass. Speaking to Hindustan Times, the veteran actor further said that Ranbir does not discuss his romance with him.
Talking about the repeated requests and queries by fans to get a sneak peek into Ranbir’s personal life, Rishi Kapoor said, “Ever since I have been on social media, more and more people have been asking me about them. I don’t know much myself, he (Ranbir) doesn’t talk much about it with us. And honestly, I am fine with it. I mean, it’s their decision and I respect that”.
The alleged relationship between the Bollywood heartthrobs Ranbir and Katrina, has been doing the rounds for quite sometime, garnering controversial remarks from friends and family. Recently when Kareena Kapoor Khan made an appearance in the celebrity chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ along with her cousin Ranbir himself, she was quoted saying she would dance to the tunes of Sheila ki Jawaani and Chikni Chameli on Ranbir and Katrina’s wedding.
Even Salman, the rumoured ex-boyfriend of Ms Kaif, took a potshot at Katrina during his sister Arpita’s wedding stating that he offered her (Katrina) a chance to be part of the Khan clan but she chose to be a Kapoor instead. This comment of Salman had created quite an uproar with Katrina allegedly taking offence to the comment and giving Arpita’s reception a miss.
Though Ranbir and Katrina have refrained from talking about their relationship, the paparazzi is always on their toes to grab a glimpse of the Rockstar and his lady love who have been spotted together at various places on many occasions. The latest one being a dinner date with Ranbir’s family that included Rishi Kapoor’s mother Krishna Raj Kapoor, brother Randhir Kapoor and his wife Neetu while Rishi Kapoor was nowhere to be seen. Probably he was caught up with his busy schedule we guess.
