Ranveer Singh has just scored a thumping hit with Bajirao Mastaani for which he went practically bald but sported a lush moustache. The actor had grown very attached to his new facial hair and says Deepika Padukone shaved off the moustache because “I didn’t have the heart to do it.”
The actor reveals: “My hand would go to snip off the moustache but would return. In fact Deepika also tried it once but we didn’t manage it -- I would be like ‘No, no I am not ready for it.’ Finally, she cut the shendi as well and in one piece! I have kept it in a box and I will keep it as a souvenir of Bajirao Mastani.”
Now that the deed has been done, Ranveer is still feelings the pangs of loss. He says “I was very attached to my moustache, I feel very naked without it, I am really missing it…it will take some days to get use to this new look.”
