Omug Kumar is about to start his next film Bhoomi with Sanjay Dutt. But it seems the filmmaker has already started working on an upcoming film.
A source says, “Omung has been working on a film which is going to be bilingual. It will be made in Hindi and English. The subject of the film is interesting and he thinks that Dev is the right choice for the role. He said to have been in talks with Dev but yet to get a reply from him.”
During promotions of his last film Lion, Dev has revealed in many interviews that he doesn’t mind doing a Hindi film if he gets a good opportunity. A source says, “Omung’s first focus is to complete Bhoomi in time and then immediately start working on this script.”
Omung’s directorial debut Mary Kom won the National Award and his second film Sarbjit has made it to the long list of 336 feature films eligible for the upcoming 89th Academy Awards
