Kannada remake for Abhiyum Naanum

Abhiyum Naanum based on the English film, \'Father of the Bride\', is on the brink of getting a Kannada remake.

Abhiyum Naanum (Akasamantha in Telugu), director Radha Mohan's Tamil film, based on the English film, Father of the Bride, is on the brink of getting a Kannada remake. The original starred Trisha, Prakashraj and Prithviraj in the lead roles. The remake will be directed by Prakashraj.

Ramya will play Trisha’s role in the Kannada version and Prakashraj will play her father. The remaining cast is yet to be selected. The film title is presently undecided.
