Adi Lokesh, who had triumphantly essayed the role of angry, young villain in numerous Kannada films, is now angry in real life for matters concerning his personal affair.

Lokesh, son of late Mysore Lokesh, made his debut in Sandalwood with the hit film Jogi, in which he played the character of ‘Bidda’, who doesn’t hesitate to backstab his mentor. He then played as a tormentor for heroines. He troubled Meera Jasmine in the film Vamshi.

However, things seem to have turned around in real life. A woman named Shalini has filed a complaint against the actor, for cheating her, with RT Nagar police station.

Though the case is yet to be proved, Lokesh has expressed his innocence. The actor, who troubled young women in reel life, never expected that a woman will torment him in the real life.

Talking to Expresso from Mysore, the actor said that he was shocked with the whole episode.

He also claimed that the police made him to give gold ornaments to Shalini. “I am not sure whether she is the same woman who had appeared on TV claiming that I had cheater her. I am consulting my lawyer for future course of action,’’ added Lokesh.

This is not the first time he has been in a controversy.

A few years ago, Gandhinagar was agog about his alleged marriage with Aruna, who had acted as an item girl in the film Mohini. “I am not able to understand why some people are interested in my personal life which has nothing to do with my profession. I think it is a big conspiracy against me,’’ rued Lokesh.

When contacted, Aruna, who claims to be Lokesh’s wife for the last five years, said that she had full trust and confidence on Lokesh.

“Because of trust and confidence I am able to lead a happy married life with Lokesh for the last five years,’’ she said.

Many attribute his luxurious lifestyle and the inclination to maintain the star status as the reasons for Lokesh’s involvement in controversies.

However, the actor denied all allegations and said that he wanted to focus on acting but there are people working against him. “I will spill the beans at the right time. It is not advisable for me to give all the details at this juncture since I am thinking of taking legal action against my opponents,’’ said Lokesh.
