BENGALURU: The Karnataka AIDS Control Board, KACB, has done something nice to promote awareness against AIDS.
They have roped in Pooja Gandhi as their brand ambassador in order to create awareness on HIV and AIDS.
Pooja’s voice would be used in the awareness promos. She would, this way, explain the safety measures and other facts on HIV and AIDS exclusively on Airtel and Reliance mobile phones.
The voice message tells the user to get himself or herself checked for AIDS infection at the nearest health centre. It also directs a person to protect him or her from AIDS.
There are other eminent personalities like Ramya, superstar Upendra, cricketers of the likes of Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid, who are part of the campaign as well.
