Madan Patel, who was felicitated with the state award about a decade ago, is all set to make a comeback with a bang. Patel came up with the Kannada movie Heegu Vunte last year that did not fare well at the box office. But he gave an opportunity to new comers with the movie that focused on the problems of the youth who want to be achievers.

Patel has now announced his plan and declared that he will come up with four movies next year. Patel desires to produce and direct a movie on Swami Nithyananda, titled Satyananda, a true story of Nithyananda. He is planning to rope in Swami Nityananda and Ranjita to play the lead roles in this movie.

‘‘I want Swami Nityananda and Ranjita in my movie as I feel they are capable of enacting the sequences in which both were allegedly indulged,’’ he said.

Have Swami Nithyananda and Ranjita agreed to act in this movie? ‘‘Not yet. I am planning to write separate letters to them. I am of the opinion that both can act in this movie without make-up and prompting," he said.

What are his other upcoming movies? ‘‘I want to help director Om Sai Prakash, who incurred a huge loss from the movie Devarukotta Thangi.

I have given him freedom to select the script and the star cast. I will be the producer of this movie,’’ he said.

According to Patel, Dayal Padmanabhan, who handled the megaphone for the movie Okay Saar Okay, featuring Patel and his son Mayur, will direct a movie based on the Tamil movie Arindo Ariyamalo.

Prakash Raj and Arya acted in that movie. ‘‘My son Mayur will play the character that was played by Arya in the Tamil version. Talks are on with Prakash Raj for this movie. We are yet to receive a green signal from Raj,’’ he said.

Patel's fourth project is a re-make of the Telugu movie Idharu Athala Muddula Alludu in which Rajendra Prasad played the lead role.

‘‘The movie will be directed by Guru Prasad. Mayur will play the lead role. We are planning to have Ananth Nag as well. We are yet to take a final decision on this,’’ he said.
