Directors and producers locking horns is not new in Sandalwood.
Recently, it was between director Dinesh Babu and producer Suresh of 'Eradane Madhuve' regarding the remuneration for the re-make rights of the film.
Now, it is about the non-payment of remuneration to Shivaraj Hoskere, who directed 'Taare'. Hoskere said that he was repenting his decision to handle the megaphone for this film. “I have to blame myself for accepting this film. I have decided not to work for producers who have no basic knowledge on film-making, in future,” says Hoskere. He said that producer did not pay a single rupee to him till now.
“Some people have printed posters of 'Taare' excluding my name and pasted them opposite my brother’s residence. I penned a lyric for this film but the inlay card doesn’t have my name,” said Hoskere.
When contacted, producer Ravish KK has said that all issues will be sorted out without any problems.
It may be recalled that the shooting of the movie began a few years ago but it was shelved when its producer Ravish met with a road accident.
While two people died on the spot, he was admitted to a hospital with serious injuries. It was said that he was in coma for three months. “I appeal all movie lovers to encourage me by watching this film at theatres,” said Ravish.
Diganth, Sanjana, Doddarange Gowda, Kari Basavaiah, Urvashi are the main starcast. Bobby is the music director for this film which is her second venture.
Her earlier film was 'Black' that bombed at the box office.
Now, she has high hopes on this film.
One song is yet to be picturised for this film. If everything goes as per plan, 'Taare' is expected to hit the silver screen within two months.
