I have not been celebrating New Year for the last few years. I will visit my father Dr Rajkumar’s Samadhi to pay my respect and seek his blessings. I am very happy with the year 2011. My 100th film, ‘Jogayya’ was released and made money in just three months at par with a film that has completed 100 days of screening. I don’t make any resolutions, I take things as they come.

I am at Shirali to celebrate the New Year with my parents and relatives. We will make arrangements for a bonfire on the seashore and celebrate the New Year on the shore. My resolution will be the same as last year — work hard. But I have always ended up breaking my resolution since I believe that resolutions are meant to be broken. I will be back in Bangalore on January 3.

As far as making resolutions is concerned, I am not particular about making resolutions since I always end up breaking them.

Resolutions: I want to act in many films in 2012 since I did not act in 2011. —I will celebrate the New Year by visiting various malls in the city with friends. I have decided to spend time with the children from economically poor families. My aim is to motivate and encourage these children to pursue higher studies and contribute to the development of our country. I have no plans to visit any club or resort to celebrate the New Year.

I plan to take my parents on an outing on January 1. I might also visit a temple with my mother.
