BANGALORE: Here is good news for Amoolya’s hardcore fans who are eager to see her on the silver screen. Amoolya, who earned name and fame for her performance in the movie ‘Cheluvina Chithaara’, has not acted in movies for quite some time after hitting headlines for wrong reasons. The other reason for her keeping away herself from the silver screen was the death of her father.

Now, if everything goes as per the plan, Amoolya’s latest movie ‘Manasology’ will hit the silver screen next month. Her brother Deepak makes his debut as a full-fledged director in Sandalwood with ‘Manasology’. The movie is produced by Deepak while Rakesh is playing the lead role.

Speaking to Expresso, Deepak said that the movie’s shooting was held in Mysore and Bangalore. “It is based on a real life incident. I happened to see a girl admitted to a private hospital in Bangalore. She was suffering from stress and depression. I came to know that she was in love with a boy. I was told that both of them used to talk over the phone for hours together but never met. I prepared a script based on this incident,” said Deepak.

The pretty child actress still in the teens studying II PUC from Mount Carmel College has silently completed the movie ‘Manasology’ for her home banner. Her brother Deepak Urs has prepared the script, directed the movie and has produced it as well. Deepak, who hails from the corporate field, says that the movie ‘Manasology’ is all about the psychology of young girls.

"This is a romantic love story with twists, emotions and confusions. This is a screenplay driven cinema and nothing is predictable,” assures Deepak.

The movie’s talkie portion has been completed but a song sequence is yet to be picturised.

Achyuth Rao and Manjunath Raj are part of the cast. Anoop Seelin has composed the music. Sugnan is the cameraman. Ashok Maddhur has penned the dialogues.
