After his recent comedy film Nam Anna Don, Ramesh is trying to prove his mettle in a more intense and serious role in his upcoming film.

When City Express interacted with Ramesh, he spoke in length about the film, his role and his future plans. The movie is based on a story of a brother and sister in the urban set-up. It revolves around how a brother responds when his sister is in a crisis situation. Speaking about his role, he said, “My role suites my personality and physique. When we speak about this hallowed relationship, it is mostly in the rural scenario that comes into our mind. But this film is unique in terms of the story line.”

Rishika Singh is playing the role of a sister in film. After pairing up with Ramesh in the films like Srirasthu Shubamasthu, Shaapa, Bisi Bisi and other films, Anu Prabhakar is once again set to romance Ramesh onscreen. “In earlier films, we played the role of a couple who were in their teens or their college days, but in this film, we play the role of mature characters. The film is more realistic and the audience will be able to relate to each of the characters.”

Thunthuru is directed by Mussanje Mahesh and the music is directed by Sridhar Sambram which has already roused curiosity among audience. When asked about his experience with the director, he said, “Mahesh is a good story-teller and a competant director. I have ensured that shooting of the film has not been interrupted at any stage. He has made a great effort to picturise our portrayal realistically and also has tried to focus on minute details regarding the bond between different characters.”

The film is yet to complete the shooting of song sequences as well as climax scenes shoot in the coming future.
