Priyamani needs no introduction for the local people and its vast film audience.

The heart throb of the South Indian film industry has also acted in many Kannada films like 'Eno Onthara', 'Raam', 'Kho-Kho' and others. Her upcoming flick 'Anna Bond', opposite Puneeth Rajkumar and Nidhi Subbaiah has roused a lot of curiosity amongst avid movie watchers.

When City Express interacted with Priyamani, she spoke at length about her role in the film, her experience with Puneeth Rajkumar and director Suri for the second time in different films, and her future projects.

Priyamani has worked along with Suri, earlier in a movie 'Kho-Kho' opposite Srinagar Kitty.

Speaking about her work experiences for this film she said, “When Suri narrated the script to me, I was very confident and also enthusiastic to take up this role. He also said that I am apt for the role.”

Speaking about the film, she said that her role is that of a documentary film maker who does reality checks about superstitious beliefs in villages along with a team.

“This team tries to spread awareness that every movement on earth is based on science and is strictly not related to blind beliefs. It is a film with a unique concept and the audience would definitely love it,” said Priya.

She added, “The film revolves around how I take Puneet’s help for my project and how he becomes a part of our team.”

She also said that the elements of humour and romance are blended well with the storyline. 'Enendu Hesaridali', a song from 'Anna Bond', is one among her favourites.

Puneeth and Priyamani who had earlier shared good onscreen chemistry in 'Raam', are now working together for their upcoming film 'Anna Bond'. Speaking about her experiences with Puneeth Rajkumar in her second project, she said, “We have been good friends for a very long time and this is just the continuation of our friendship. He is down to earth and friendly. It was a great experience working with him.”

Priya has a handful of projects in her hand. In the coming future, she will work with Lakshmi opposite Shivrajkumar in Kannada. She is also working in a Malayalam film 'Grand Master' opposite superstar Mohan Lal.
