'Yogesh is extremely professional'

The actress talks about her new film 'Alemari', her work-experiences with co-star Yogesh and her future projects.

BANGALORE: Radhika Pandit is all set to make her appearance on the big screen with her new movie, Alemari, which will be released on March 8. Audiences have great expectations for the upcoming film which casts Radhika and Yogesh in lead roles.

Radhika Pandit who interacted with City Express spoke about her experiences during the shooting of the film, her work-experience with co-star Yogesh and her future projects. Alemari directed by Mahesh Kumar is a romantic drama film with a simple story line. Speaking about the script and screen-play she said, “When the director narrated the script to me, I was thoroughly impressed. The role could be performed by anyone but the director had great expectations from me.”

She added, “I had to live up to his expectations. I have tried my best to do complete justice to my role.”

Radhika, in this film enacts the role of a girl from a middle class Brahmin family whose world is limited to college and home. The story revolves around this character who falls in love. She opines that it is necessary for one to understand the plot to enjoy this movie. In this project, she will be working with Yogesh for the second time after Hudugaru. Speaking about experiences on the set with Yogesh, she said, “As I worked with him in our previous film, the rapport was already built. He is extremely professional and has given his best to get the audience to identify themselves with his character in the film.”

Radhika is looking forward to the release her films including Sagar, in which she is paired opposite Prajwal Devaraj under Ramu Enterprises banner and Addhuri opposite Druva Sarja. The audio release of the movie Breaking News starring Radhika will be held on March 7. “This would be a very exciting birthday for me as the audio of Breaking News will be released on the same day. I am also looking forward to Yogaraj Bhat’s Drama, for which the shooting begins on March 11.”

Radhika who has also won Filmfare awards for Moggina Manasu, Love Guru and Krishnan Love Story has no doubt created an impact on the audience with her acting skills. Now, there are higher expectations from her fans for her upcoming film Alemari. Will she impress the audience with her performance? We’ll have to wait and watch
