Prasad has created much curiosity among film lovers. The film that casts Sankalp, Arjun Sarja and Madhuri Bhattacharya in the lead role will be produced by Ashok Kheny, AKK entertainment. Prasad is the first Kannada movie that premiered at the Berlin film festival.

Madhuri Bhattacharya who plays the lead role was all excited to be a part of the film that received wide appreciation from the audience. She has also acted in films like Khushi and Bisi Bisi earlier. When City Express interacted with Madhuri Bhattacharya, she spoke about the response from the audience and her experience with co-stars.

Madhuri said that the film received an overwhelming response from the audience across the world. The 120 seater theatre was full and people watched the film with great enthusiasm. She added, “They were awestruck by the relationship that the mother and son shared. A mother’s love and affection towards her son who has hearing difficulty is projected very well in the movie. They even asked if an Indian woman would care for her child so much.”

Speaking about her role and performance she said, “This is a big milestone in my life. Audience, especially Germans appreciated mine and Arjun’s performance. I am very proud and also very possessive about my work,” she said.

Madhuri appreciated Arjun Sarja’s guidance at each and every step. This was the first time even Arjun participated in this film festival. Speaking about Arjun Sarja, she said, “Every one who enters the film industry must work with Arjun to know what film making is all about. He is also a passionate film maker and looks into every aspect of making a film meticulously.” The film release was delayed due to the Celebrity Cricket League and exams. The film is expected to release on April 6 and looking forward to being a block buster hit.
