Radhika Pandit's debut film finally ready for release!!!

Radhika Pandit has won plenty of praise for her performances right from 'Moggina Manasu' to the recent 'Kaddipuddi' opposite Shivarajkumar. The actress is here for a long run as the box office collection of her latest film, 'Addhuri' screams a hit.

“Unlike last year, where I was seen only in 'Huduguru', 2012 will see many releases of mine,” says Radhika who is looking forward with equal excitement for the release of her first film '18th Cross', which will see its release this week.

“'18th Cross' was actually my debut and I faced the camera for the first time for this film. Unfortunately, the film was stalled for many months as the producer of the film, Chikkana died in a road accident. That's when Shashank offered me 'Moggina Manasu',” says Radhika, who plays the role of Punya in the action film, '18th Cross'.  “I can see that raw look in my first film as I was not giving much importance to styling back then. Now I look totally different. I completed shooting for 'Moggina Manasu' and later made sure I finished my first film too," she adds.

'18th Cross' will now be released by late Chikkana's wife Rathna, who took the responsibility of the film. “I dedicate '18th Cross' to my producer, who is no more. I want this film to really do well and benefit the producer's family. All of us, who had worked for this film, back then were newcomers. Music director Arjun Janya, my co-star Deepak, everyone had put in a lot of effort as we had taken our first step into filmdom with this film,” she explains.

The following week will see the release of Radhika's much awaited film, 'Sagar'. “In 'Sagar', there is a mystery around my character. Working under Ramu, which is quite a big banner, is definitely a matter of honour. That is why I accepted this multi-starrer film,” says Radhika who's simultaneously working and promoting her latest films. “I have to shoot for one song for Yograj Bhat's Drama after which I have to start shooting for 'Kadipuddi'. Meanwhile I have to promote '18th Cross' and Sagar. As of now my calendar is completely full,” she concludes.
