It seems like actress Rachita Ram is on a career high. The actress, who scored a hit with her debut Bulbul, followed it up with the success of second film Dil Rangeela, in which she acted with Golden Star Ganesh. She is currently working with Darshan in Ambareesha, and has just now bagged a role opposite Puneeth Rajkumar in Dheera Rana Vikrama. Confirming the news, the film’s director Pavan Wadeyar said he decided to cast Rachita after watching Dil Rangeela on Monday. He says, “I was looking for a heroine who suits the college going girl’s role in my film Dheera Rana Vikrama. I watched Rachita’s latest film with Ganesh. She has done a good job and that’s when I decided to cast her in my film,” he adds. It is said that Jayanna, the producer of Dheera Rana Vikrama, was keen on casting a Kannada heroine and as a result, Rachita has been the final choice.
Interestingly, Rachita has also been offered a role in Yogaraj Bhat’s Vaastu Prakara as Amulya is having some date problems. The young lass, who is completing shoot for Ambareesha, will be joining Bhat’s team in Malaysia in the second week of May before she joins the Rana Vikrama team in June.
Rachita, who is on cloud nine, says, “Luck is playing a major role in my career and I am happy to be working in good projects with well-known actors and directors. I hope to work hard and do well in all my roles.”
