A special song in Sharp Shooter featuring Aindrita Ray will propel this Bengali beauty up the popularity charts. This is her third song in a row after her appearances in Prem Adda and Kaddipudi. Her latest song, Kunte bile aadi edde nanu, is special for a bunch of reasons. Firstly, the song is shot with Diganth, her boyfriend of many years, which increases her comfort levels on the sets exponentially. The actress is looking stunning in her new avatar.
“The chemistry between me and Diganth has always worked right from Manasare to Parijatha and it is visible in this song as well,” says Andy. When asked about Diganth’s reaction she says, “I have known him closely for six years now and I always tend to wow him.”
Andy appreciates director Ghouse Peer, who could convince her to do this number. “The song was really catchy and peppy and gave me an opportunity to dance what I loved. As far as the film is concerned, the director has worked hard on everything from the posters of the story, which is believed to be quite unique. I knew that the song will also be shot differently and that’s why I did it. Even my costume designer Ramya has matched my look to the theme of the song with perfection and choreographer Murali master had the right steps,” says Andy. eanwhile, the actor has completed shooting for Niruttara with Apoorva Kasaravalli. “It is a mix of a commercial and an art film for which we travelled extensively to different parts of India for 40 days at a stretch. It was a tough experience but I came back with good memories. After a serious film, doing this special song on a lighter note feels really good,” she says.
