Sudeep seems to have understood the pulse of the audience when it is comes to commercial entertainers. Having tasted success as a director with Maanikya, a remake of Telugu hit Mirchi and with his recent film Ranna as the lead actor, which is a remake of Telugu hit Attarintiki Daredi, the star has now to remake of the 2013 Telugu hit Balupu.

According to our sources, N Kumar, who will be producing the film, was in Hyderabad on Tuesday to sign and purchase the remake rights. If everything goes as plans, the film’s muhurath will be held on September 2, Sudeep’s birthday.
Interestingly, the film will be directed by Sudeep and he has planned to rope in Ravichandran, who will be getting into the character essayed by Prakash Raj in the Telugu version.
We now have to wait and watch whether Sudeep’s instinct for smelling a hit will match the expectations of the Kannada audience.
Meanwhile, Sudeep will get busy with two projects, simultaneously - KS Ravi Kumar’s yet-to-be-titled film and S Krishna’s Hebbuli. And, he will follow it all up with Milana Prakash’s film. Sudeep as a producer is looking into the remake of Jigarthanda in Kannada with Rahul playing the lead.

Apart from films, Sudeep is working towards becoming the owner of the Shivamoga team, KPL (Karnataka Premiere League). With too many things on his plate, this multi-talented personality is preparing to spring more surprises upon his fans.
