Although Bharjari had a grand muhurath in April, the film made under RS Productions and directed by Chethan Kumar is yet to take off. Dhruva rubbished rumours that the film has been stalled due to differences between the director and the actor regarding the script.

According to Chethan, the actor is on board and will be starting the film in a month’s time. “Dhruva is looking forward to his third film and he has been consulting his uncle, Arjun Sarja,” he says.

Chethan says that after Dhruva came on board, they reworked the screenplay 18 times. “We want to hit the right button, we don’t want regrets later. We did have some creative differences but ultimately I am working towards the script which will help Dhruva win a hat-trick. The film is a good family entertainer,” says Chethan. “Dhruva is a good friend but when it comes to films, we are professionals. I have discussed the story with his uncle and the final version has been accepted by all of us. Now that everything is set, we are going to start the film from Vijayadashami,” says Chethan.

Dhruva, who debuted with A P Arjun’s Addhuri, has worked with Chethan in Bahaddhur, a runaway hit. The film sees Rachita Ram in the female lead. Dhruva is also starting Poguru, a remake of Telugu film Kandireega, with Nanda Kishore.
