Producer Rockline Venkatesh, who established his name in Bollywood, is basking in the success of his debut Hindi project Bajrangi Bhaijan, starring Salman Khan. He is now back in Sandalwood, and this time he has chosen to remake the Telugu film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, a psychological romantic comedy, in Kannada.
And if everything goes as planned, Ganesh will be getting into Nani’s shoes, who played the male lead opposite Lavanya Tripathi in the original.
“Yes, I will be doing the Kannada version of the Telugu film Bhale Bhale and as of now I am in talks with Ganesh about the project. Currently, everything is in discussion stages and will be confirmed in about 10 to 15 days, as to who will be helming the project and other details. We will take some more time to finalise the rest of the starcast for the film,” says Rockline Venkatesh.
The Telugu film directed by Maruthi Dasari chose the film’s title from a song of K Balachander’s Maro Charitra and it was received well when released on September 4, this year. The film that was made with an average budget in Telugu has done wonders at the box office here and in the US.
Rockline Venkatesh who has taken the rights to do it in Kannada thought that Ganesh would be perfect for the role and is roping in the actor.
Meanwhile, Ganesh, who has projects lined up, has completed the talky portions of Pataki, directed by Manju Swaraj and he will continue with Shashank’s Mungaru Male 2. He has also agreed to a film produced by B Vijaykumar, to be helmed by Suni, which we hear will only take off next year.
